Horncastle Executive Travel Ltd – ATOL 75244 has ceased trading on 16 November 2020.
The company based in Newcastle Upon Tyne traded under the name Horncastle Executive Travel Ltd and website www.horncastle.co.uk
We understand that Horncastle Executive Travel Ltd sold flights under its IATA licence and as agent for the airline operating the flight. These flights are not ATOL protected
Horncastle Executive Travel Ltd also sold corporate and executive travel arrangements to businesses under the basis of a general agreement. These travel arrangements are not ATOL protected
Only a small number of bookings sold by Horncastle Executive Travel Ltd were ATOL protected and consumers will be contacted with details of how they may make a claim.
The UK CAA has the power to prosecute offences related to its statutory functions. Person(s) who make fraudulent ATOL claims, following the failure of an ATOL holder, may be prosecuted by the UK CAA for offences under section 1 of the Fraud Act 2006. The maximum sentence for this offence is 10 years’ imprisonment.
